According to Mefu Sports, left-arm Pakistani batsman Khushdal Shah, who is in England, has been out of cricket for three weeks. The young batsman suffered a left thumb fracture after being hit by a ball while batting in Saturday’s net session in Derby.
Khushdal Shah is currently out of the four-day intra-squad practice match in Derby and will not be available for selection for the second four-day practice match starting July 24 due to injury.
Khushdal Shah’s nails were not damaged, so orthopedic surgeons, team physicians and team physiotherapists are hopeful that the batsmen will start physical training by the end of next week.
