Fawad Alam drives Pakistan to triumph in style

Pakistani batsman Fawad Alam on Friday drove the Men In Green to triumph by hitting a tasteful shot against South Africa at the National Stadium Karachi during the primary Test.

Alam hit a tasteful four through the offside to end the innings and drove Pakistan to a resonating triumph in the primary Test.

Pakistan vanquished South Africa in the main Test by seven wickets taking a lead of 1-0 in the two-coordinate Test arrangement. Azhar Ali was 31 not out, while Alam — who hit a battling hundred in the principal innings — hit the triumphant limit.

Also, Alam has been named as man-of-the-coordinate for his presentation in the innings. Reacting to the turn of events, he said: “It was a significant counterpart for me as the group required sudden spikes in demand for the board.”

It was just Pakistan’s fifth triumph against South Africa in 27 Tests. Debutant Nauman Ali got done with 5-35 and Yasir Shah accepting 4-79 as South Africa drooped to 245 all out in their second innings on the fourth day on a wearing National Stadium pitch that supported turn bowlers.

It is appropriate to specify here that South Africa are on their first visit through Pakistan for a very long time.
