Details of return of tickets for 10 matches of PSL 2020 released

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released details of return of tickets for 10 matches of HBL Pakistan Super League 2020. These matches were either canceled due to rain or were played behind closed doors or their schedule was changed due to Covid 19.

The process of refunding tickets in two phases will start from Monday. The first phase will run from July 13 to August 5, in which tickets will be refunded for five group matches played behind closed doors due to Cove 19 and the rain-affected match in Rawalpindi on February 29.

The second phase of refunding will run from August 6 to 29. Tickets for the qualifiers, 2 elements and final matches included in the league’s preliminary schedule will be refunded.

This 6-week process is the only chance for customers to return tickets to the event. The ticketing process will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Saturday at specific TCS centers in 27 different cities across the country. These cities include Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and Multan besides Chakwal, Hyderabad, Vehari, Gujranwala, Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi, Sukkur, Lodhran and Vehari.

Customers will have to deposit their original ticket purchased for the event at these designated TCS centers for a refund of tickets. In the meantime, customers visiting TCS centers will be required to wear face masks and follow other government guidelines on social distance.

PSL project executive Shoaib Naveed said that the process of returning tickets for the event was undoubtedly delayed, but hoped that all the fans would understand that we were reviewing every possible situation due to Covid 19. He said that he urged all consumers to fully comply with the government guidelines for Quaid 19.

Shoaib Naveed said that HBLPSL 2020 was a successful event, with a total of 500,000 enthusiastic fans flocking to the stadium to watch the matches. Project Executive PSL says that the PCB and all the franchises are hopeful that the remaining matches of the league will be rescheduled in 2020 itself. All the details related to rescheduling these matches will be released on time.
